About these terms

These terms apply to vehicle recovery, breakdown recovery, roadside assistance, towing and vehicle transportation services provided by K A Vehicle Recovery ("we", "us"). By requesting our services you agree to these terms.

Quotations and pricing

Prices are discussed and agreed by telephone before any work is carried out. A quotation is based on the information you provide at the time, including the location, the vehicle and the destination. If that information changes, or if the situation on arrival differs materially from what was described, the price may need to be revised — we will always discuss this with you before proceeding.

Arranging a recovery

You must give us accurate information about the vehicle's location, condition and accessibility. We cannot guarantee a specific arrival time, as traffic, weather, road conditions and other jobs may affect when we reach you. We will keep you informed where possible.

Your responsibilities

• Make sure the vehicle can be accessed safely, and tell us about any hazards, including low bridges, height restrictions, soft ground, locked gates or parking restrictions.
• Remove or secure personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle. We are not responsible for items left inside.
• Tell us if the vehicle is unsafe to move, damaged, or involved in an accident.

Vehicles we cannot move

We may decline or stop a job where it is unsafe to continue, where the vehicle cannot be moved with the equipment available, or where the information provided was materially inaccurate.

Liability

We take care with every vehicle we move. However, we cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing damage, damage caused by defects in the vehicle, or for circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Payment

Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking. Please discuss payment arrangements with us when you call.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel after we have been dispatched, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 07939 149380.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
